The scientific director for the company that owned the Titan submersible that imploded last year while on its way to the Titanic wreckage testified Thursday that the sub had malfunctioned just prior to the fatal dive.
Appearing before a U. S. Coast Guard panel, Steven Ross told the board about a platform issue the experimental submersible experienced in June 2023, just days before it imploded on its way to the Titanic site.
Since its Binance listing, Turbo’s price has surged from $0.003 to $0.005, sparking speculation about a potential Coinbase listing.
The increased interest in meme coins, fueled by major exchange listings, has led to predictions that Turbo could reach a billion-dollar market cap sooner than expected.
As interest in meme coins grows, investors may consider exploring promising projects early on, during their presale stages.
This strategy can often lead to substantial returns once the coins are officially launched, as seen with projects like Pepe Unchained.
Turbo (TURBO) price analysis and price prediction
The Turbo token has seen significant gains, marking a 40% increase over the past week and a 21% rise over the past month.
The retro gaming hobby is not new to scammers attempting to take advantage of the ongoing trend of playing old gaming classics on modern devices. Now, the developers of the popular PS3 emulator RPCS3 have taken to X to warn anybody getting overexcited about the emergence of a PlayStation 3 emulator for your mobile phone to tread warily, and not download something that is potentially untrustworthy.
In a post on the RPCS3 X account the devs said, “We are aware of several PS3 scam “emulators” roaming around, especially for mobile platforms where the targeted audience doesn’t understand much about tech.
We remind you that RPCS3 is NOT natively available for Android or iOS and that we will NOT be porting it to these platforms.”
They continue, “No other PlayStation 3 emulators that can run commercial games exist besides RPCS3.
Any footage you see is either completely fake, recorded on a real console or through RPCS3 itself, and branded as something else.
Stay vigilant!”
The warning comes as an emulator called Andstation 3 has emerged for Android devices.
The South Korean giant Samsung could be releasing the first-ever rollable phone to the market as soon as 2025.
According to the initial report by respected Korean tech news publisher The Elec, the technology company is focusing on a new product direction which will look at a ‘roller’ phone that can roll up to a large display.
It’s believed it could be “released in the second half of 2025.” And the Elec describes the potential new phone as being equipped with under-panel camera technology that hides a built-in camera under the display.
This comes after the company was pipped by rival Huawei to the triple-folding phone.
Google, Microsoft, and Amazon’s AWS are reportedly pointing the finger at each other as the United Kingdom’s market watchdog investigates whether the cloud operators have an unfair advantage in the field.
All three tech giants are being probed by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), who are looking into factors such as licensing practices and egress fees.
It’s finally time to get stuck into another year of EA FC and while you’ll be getting accustomed to the new mechanics, there’s no mercy in Ultimate Team.
You’ll need a solid set of players right out of the gate and while cheap gold rares will likely be your go to with limited coins, if you can afford a TOTW, you’ll get an instant boost.
Here, we’ll reveal what players make up TOTW 1 for EA FC 25 so you can set your transfer targets straight away and have a goal player to work toward.
EA FC 25 TOTW 1 players
As promised here is the complete list of the EA FC 25 TOTW 1 players and their ratings:
Lionel Messi (RW) – 89 OVR
Theo Hernandez (LB) – 88 OVR
Ousmane Dembele (RW) – 87 OVR
Karim Benzema (ST) – 87 OVR
Gabriel (CB) – 87 OVR
Trinity Rodman (LM) – 86 OVR
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (LW) – 86 OVR
Klara Buhl (LM) – 85 OVR
Victor Boniface (ST) – 84 OVR
Lamine Yamal (RW) – 84 OVR
Denis Zakaria (CDM) – 84 OVR
Karim Adeyemi (LM) – 84 OVR
Geronimo Rulli (GK) – 82 OVR
Lauren (CB) – 82 OVR
Trincao (RW) – 82 OVR
Riqui Puig (CM) – 82 OVR
Callum Hudson-Odoi (LM) – 81 OVR
Javi Puado (ST) – 80 OVR
Luke Chambers (LB) – 80 OVR
Troy Parrott (ST) – 80 OVR
As you can see, despite it being the first Team of the Week of EA FC 25, there are some pretty standout players that most will be after.
In particular, Theo Hernandez is already one of the better defenders in the game, so a TOTW upgrade ensures he is a highly desirable pick.
Even though he is only 84 rated, Lamine Yamal would be a great one to pack not only because he’s a great player, but also because you’ll net a tidy sum because of his age and current form.
And finally, Denis Zakaria.
