KINGSPORT — With the help of TNAchieves mentor Miles Burdine and the Tennessee Promise, Dobyns-Bennett High School graduate Javonte Shellings is headed to Northeast State Community College this fall, hoping to become a physican’s assistant or dentist’s assistant. Burdine, president and CEO of the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce, is Shellings’ TNAchieves mentor.
