Tinley Park officials will consider plans next month for a retail shopping center that would include a grocery store, AutoNation car dealership and Gas N Wash gas station. The village needs to annex property now in unincorporated Will County for the project, which is partially on a site once considered by Lincoln-Way High School District 210 for a school, and had over the years been proposed as as site for retailers including Walmart and more recently a Woodman’s Food Market. Brookside Creek would be built southwest of Harlem Avenue and 191st Street, directly south of the Brookside Marketplace shopping center.
