WISE — Three Pound residents have been convicted and sentenced for their roles in a synthetic drug distribution ring, Wise County Commonwealth’s Attorney Chuck Slemp said Tuesday. The three men received their sentences Jan. 11 in Wise County Circuit Court. David Dwayne Mathias, 50, was sentenced to 25 years with 21 years suspended.
