The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is advising county residents to prepare for severe weather in the next few days. The National Weather Service is forecasting heavy rain and potential flooding beginning tonight through Wednesday.

A 9-year-old student of Eugene Corridor Elementary School reported being grabbed by an unidentified man this afternoon, police said. The incident was reported at approximately 1 p.m.
