Cruise line call center to add to work force

Roberts completes Air Force training Air Force Airman Jacob Roberts has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio. Roberts is the son of Trina Halpain and grandson of Eugene Halpain, both of Springfield. He is a 2012 graduate of Springfield High School.

Thurston, Springfield build on momentum

It will be a busy Friday night locally as both Springfield and Thurston play home football games against league opponents. The Millers (2-1, 1-0 Midwestern League) are coming off back-to-back blowout victories and will take on an Eagle Point squad (1-2, 0-1) that lost to Churchill last week.
