Providence Animal Center Pet of the Week: Gnocchi

1-year-old female Domestic Shorthair Meet Gnocchi, the pretty Italian woman who is looking for a family she can take care of forever. We all know Italian women are known for their nurturing and loving hearts. Gnocchi is all-white with bright blue eyes. She was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and brought to Providence Animal Center in Media, formerly the Delco SPCA, where she waits for a family who connects with her.

Well, you can have those glory days back again, this time with a real live teddy bear embodied in our Shih Tzu Lhasa Apso mix. Just ten months old, this puppy is simply a hug waiting to happen.

Meet Lola. A 1 YO Shepherd/Mastiff mix. She's a big strong girl, with a lovely personality. Lola is a sweet girl who loves all other dogs and is cat friendly too! She is crate and house trained. She knows sit, wait, and is working on lay down. She loves to play with toys, the other pups and her foster mom.

Judge denies Bill Cosby request to delay sex assault retrial

NORRISTOWN >> A judge ruled Bill Cosby's upcoming retrial on sexual assault charges will not be delayed, denying the actor's request for more time to investigate the claims of five additional accusers granted permission to testify in the case."All counsel was advised on February 6, 2018, to be prepared for trial regardless of the status of this court's rulings on any outstanding pretrial motions," Montgomery County Judge Steven T.

 

Federal judges reject lawsuit over Pennsylvania district map

HARRISBURG, Pa. >> A panel of federal judges on Monday dismissed a legal challenge by Republican congressmen to a district map imposed last month by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.The decision does not end litigation over the matter, but it makes it much more likely that this year's congressional elections in Pennsylvania will be conducted under district lines widely viewed as more favorable to Democrats than a 2011 map the state court threw out in January.
