(AP) — An all-white federal jury has found a white Florida ex-sheriff's deputy not guilty in the beating of an unarmed black man who was being arrested.Jesse Alan Terrell was one of five former Marion County Sheriff's deputies prosecuted by the federal government for beating Derrick Price during a 2014 arrest on drug charges.The other deputies pleaded guilty and await sentencing. Each testified against Terrell.

GDOT: Construction closes lane on S.R. 204 in Georgetown

Contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will be installing temporary lane closures with reduced speed limits on S.R. 204 Saturday in both directions between Veterans Parkway and King George Boulevard in Chatham County, according to a news release.Lane closures are scheduled westbound between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and eastbound between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.  on Saturday, April 9 and then again on Monday April 11 through Wednesday, April 16.
