COCC begins registration soon

Registration for Central Oregon Community College’s Community Learning fall classes begins at 9 a. m. Aug. 26. The fall schedule is available at www. cocc. edu and includes noncredit classes in photography, computers, fitness, gardening and more.

 

Singers School set for fall

Open to children in grades one through four, the Singers School of the Youth Choir of Central Oregon starts Oct. 21. Children learn good choral techniques, behavior and stage presence in the 10-week session, which includes two performances. Rehearsals are from 5:15 to 6:30 p. m.

 

Atelier 6000 registration

Registration is continuing for the fall and winter schedule of workshops at Bend art space Atelier 6000.September workshops include poetry and printmaking, small-scale art, intro to printmaking, mask-making, and inspired design. Cost ranges from $15 to $40 depending on the class.

 

Model A club to meet in Bend

The High Desert A’s of Central Oregon, a club dedicated to preserving and restoring classic Model A Ford cars, is hosting a Northwest regional meet of the Model A Ford Club of America Sept. 3-8 at the Riverhouse Resort and Convention Center in Bend.Event organizers expect 550 club members from across the Pacific Northwest will attend and will bring 250 classic cars with them.

Facebook data center nears completion
