110-foot flagpole rises again over Toyota of Braintree

A new 110-foot flagpole is back in place, rising over Toyota of Braintree. The original flagpole fell down in September when lightning hit it. he flag will be raised into place at the dealership overlooking Route 3 by the Union Street rotary at noontime on Sunday

Balzotti won't seek recount in Brockton mayoral race

Three days after losing Tuesday’s election and saying she would petition its results, Mayor Linda Balzotti announced last night that she will not seek a recount.

Balzotti announced her decision in an emailed statement released sent at 5:05 p.m, on Friday afternoon, bringing to an end to the post-election limbo.
