NEW HAVEN >> A Superior Court jury took less than two hours Wednesday to find Michael Torres guilty of assault, unlawful restraint and risk of injury to a minor for holding the hands of two children over a stove's flame and burning them.The verdict followed several days of testimony, including that of the two victims, who were 4 and 8 at the time.
