Mass. man dies after motorcycle crash in Portsmoth

PORTSMOUTH — A 25-year-old Massachusetts man was fatally injured late Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Portsmouth, authorities said.Portsmouth police went to the ramp that carries northbound traffic onto Route 24 from Boyds Lane at 4:45 p.m., according to a news release issued by Portsmouth police Detective Lt. PROVIDENCE — A newborn baby was found dead in a Ring Street home Saturday morning, according to the police.Police said in a tweet that the baby was found dead at 111-113 Ring St. at 11 a.m. The cause of death is unknown at this time.The baby's mother, 21, is being treated at Rhode Island Hospital for undisclosed injuries, police said.Maj.
