The NBA has fined the San Antonio Spurs $250,000 for sending Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green home and not having them available to play against the Miami Heat in a nationally televised game on Thursday night. Stern pretty much had no choice but to fine the Spurs after he came out before the game with a statement saying there would be “substantial sanctions” on the Spurs for their actions.

NBA Playoffs: It's Over for San Antonio Spurs

I agree with Charles Barkley, it's over for the San Antonio Spurs.

The Thunder seemed to the Spurs all figured out.

Manu Ginobili scored 28 points and the San Antonio Spurs got a scare when Tim Duncan sprained his left ankle in a 111-96 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night.

Senh: Doh! They were having a perfect season. I hope Duncan returns soon and be healthy enough for the playoffs. It's not fair when a team loses their best player at this point in the season.

Spurs’ bench saves day in Game 4 win vs. Mavs

Tim Duncan had a miserable 34th birthday and Manu Ginobili looked as bad at times as his bandaged-up nose. But George Hill scored 29 points and San Antonio beat the Mavs 92-89 on Sunday night to take a 3-1 lead in their first-round series.
