Charles Andrew Capps, 21, from New Caney, reportedly confessed to cops he assaulted the 14-year-old after sending her lewd photos via Facebook.

Thirteen adults and five juveniles have been arrested as part of an investigation into the alleged rape of a Texas girl, police said.

Pepper spray has been flying off the shelves in the central Texas towns where a series of rapes and robberies of elderly women have been occuring in the past year.

A suspect has been arrested in the 1990 abduction and rape of an 8-year-old Texas girl, a spokeswoman for the FBI's Houston, Texas, office said. The victim, Jennifer Schuett, is now 27. She recently shared her story with CNN in hopes of someday bringing her attacker to justice.
