Senh: So far, none of Mitt Romney's rivals could take the heat. One by one, they fall when they got the spotlight. It appears the same is about to happen with Newt Gingrich, who's been slipping in the polls.

Senh: I'm not sure if this is a good endorsement for Mitt Romney. Christine O'Donnell isn't exactly well-regarded. With Newt Gingrich surging in the polls, and him stumbling a bit lately, I guess he needs all the help he can get.
Senh: Who else is left? So far, the only one who has agreed to do it is Newt Gingrich. Ron Paul was the first to decline.
Senh: What a turn of events within the last month for Newt Gingrich. Herman Cain's loss became his gain. Just when I thought he was out of the picture early on when he had staffing issues. Now, it's looking like he's the sleeping giant that has finally awaken. It still remains to be seem if he can keep this up. Mitt Romney has been able to weather the storm through each of the other candidate's rise - Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Herman Cain. Gingrich seems to be most formidable of the bunch, with the double digit lead.
