Romney touts fiscal plan, avoids fray on Iowa trip

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is trying to stay above the fray in the GOP nominating campaign. The former Massachusetts governor is visiting eastern Iowa counties he won in his 2008 bid for the state's leadoff caucuses. He's also sticking with his strategy of shadowing President Barack Obama and trying to present himself as the most electable Republican. Obama also visited eastern Iowa in the fall.

Senh: Blah, blah, blah. The media's focused on Herman Cain's sexual harassment accusations now. It's good for him, but probably bad for Republicans as a whole.

Poll: Romney, Cain tied, but there are red flags for both

Poll: Romney, Cain tied, but there are red flags for both

A poll shows that accusations of harassment against Herman Cain haven't cost him his spot with Mitt Romney at the top of the GOP field.

Senh: Let's see of Gloria Allred and the fourth accuser can do damage to Herman Cain's campaign.

Allred says new woman to accuse Cain

Allred says new woman to accuse Cain

Leaving little to the imagination, a Chicago-area woman on Monday accused Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain of making a crude sexual advance more than a decade ago when she was seeking his help finding a job. "Come clean," Sharon Bialek challenged Cain at a news conference in New York at which she described herself as "a face and a voice" to support other accusers who have so far remained anonymous.

Senh: Now that Gloria Allred's involved, this is officially getting into Jerry Springer territory. It's also entering Tiger Woods territory too. This is the 4th alleged victim that Herman Cain has sexually harassed.

Racial politics return with Cain allegations

Herman Cain's rise as a presidential contender was supposed to prove that race didn't matter in the Republican Party. Cain is fast making it the only thing that does. The black conservative is trying to navigate around allegations that he sexually harassed at least three women, implying that the accusations surfaced because he is black. Hours after the claims were reported, Cain's supporters branded his trouble a "high-tech lynching." That's the term coined 20 years ago by another black conservative, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, after his confirmation hearings for the court were rocked by allegations of sexual harassment.

Ron Paul was declared the winner on Saturday of a weeklong Republican presidential straw poll in Democratic President Barack Obama's home state of Illinois.

Senh: Here's some Ron Paul news, since he gets ignored by the media.

Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich Meet For a Congenial Debate

The rancor that defined much of the last week on the Republican presidential campaign trail subsided a bit here on Saturday night, as Newt Gingrich and Herman Cain basked in each other’s company and the warm embrace of the Texas Tea Party for what was styled as an old-fashioned issues-focused debate.

Senh: Why couldn't they more issues-focused debates like this. I'm not a fan of shouting during debates. It makes for great entertainment, but it also turns in Jerry Springer.

Accusations not yet costing Cain in early states

Republicans in Iowa and other early voting states seem to be giving presidential candidate Herman Cain the benefit of the doubt for now.

Romney hits Perry on immigration in robo-calls

Mitt Romney's campaign is reportedly paying for automated calls in Iowa that hit GOP presidential rival Rick Perry on illegal immigration.

Senh: Now that Herman Cain's busy with the sexual harassment lawsuits, which was supposedly planted by Rick Perry, Mitt Romney's targeting Perry. He should thank Perry for pushing Cain out of way.

Herman Cain's former colleagues recall different sides to him

Some at the National Restaurant Association say he was known for being inappropriate. Others say they saw only model behavior. During his three years heading the National Restaurant Assn. in the 1990s, Herman Cain worked long hours and, with his family living out of town, socialized at Washington-area restaurants with his subordinates from the organization's headquarters.

Third woman accuses Herman Cain

Third woman accuses Herman Cain

A third woman reportedly accuses leading Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain of inappropriate behaviour in the workplace.

Senh: This is starting to get into Tiger Woods territory. Herman Cain's dealing with this by blaming Rick Perry. I'm sure Mitt Romney's smiling right now.
