A superior court justice ordered Gang Deng Majok, 30, held without bail on a charge of murdering a Westbrook 19-year-old in May. Majok appeared in Cumberland County Unified Criminal Court Wednesday afternoon wearing civilian clothes but escorted by county deputies. He pled not guilty to charges of murdering Treyjon Arsenault and elevated aggravated assault for wounding Mohamed Ali, 21, of Portland. Majok’s attorneys, Robert Ruffner and Kristine Hanly, are reviewing search warrant affidavits in the case, and will tell the judge later today whether they object to their release.
