Suspect In Boca Raton Double Homicide Arrested After Fleeing To Georgia, Police Say

A man who police say shot a man and a woman dead outside of a boutique hotel in Boca Raton fled the scene and made it all the way to Georgia before he was arrested Saturday. De’Vante Lashawn Moss, 30, of Boynton Beach, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder with a firearm and one count of attempted murder with a firearm after police say he shot three people in the parking lot of the 365 Ocean Hotel late Friday afternoon. Moss was seen running out of one of the extended-stay hotel’s rooms with a purse moments before the shooting, Boca Raton Police said in a news release Saturday.
