By Carlee Lammers Superintendent John Hudson said he's made listening to students in Putnam County one of his top priorities this year. Today, the last day of school for students in Putnam County Schools, marks the end of Hudson's first academic year at the helm of the school district. In the last year, Hudson, who was appointed as superintendent in May 2016, has placed high value on communicating with students. "We went into all of the middle and high schools and held student forums," he said.
