As a storm continues to pound the mountains, ski areas were forced to delay openings or close altogether Friday morning. Loveland Ski Area reported 22 inches in the past 24 hours. Breckenridge Resort and Copper Mountain weren’t far behind with 19 inches and 17 inches, respectively. Arapahoe Basin reported 14 inches while Keystone reported 11 inches. But with the storm raging on, those numbers are likely outdated at this point. Loveland Ski Area announced that it would close entirely Friday due to high winds.
