Stamford Man Charged With Drug And Gun Offenses

STAMFORD — A city man charged for allegedly allowing a juvenile girl to help him sell narcotics to an undercover officer on two occasions is facing additional charges after a search of his Springdale home turned up six grams of crack cocaine and a loaded handgun, police said. Bismal Almanzar, 19, of Hope Street, was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor, possession of a gun without a permit, three counts of sales of narcotics, possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

MIAMI GARDENS — This should have been “guaranteed victory day” for the Miami Dolphins. The lowly Las Vegas Raiders came to Hard Rock Stadium riding a five-game losing streak and major replacements on their offensive staff. The Dolphins (4-6) took advantage of the situation with a 34-19 victory. Give the Dolphins credit for getting the victory they should have gotten, and doing it without a lot of drama. Yes, there was some fourth quarter drama, but not a lot. Plus, the Dolphins had their highest-scoring game of the season. Here are some more takeaways from the win: Dolphins win back-to-back games The Dolphins won back-to-back games for the first time this season with Sunday’s victory. Yes, that sounds strange considering the Dolphins started 8-3 in 2022 and 9-3 last season. But that’s the way this season has gone.
