City Installs Crosswalk Safety Light In Waterside

STAMFORD — A new pedestrian-activated light at Selleck and Durant streets is supposed to make it safer to cross the busy intersection on foot. Mayor David Martin, Transportation Bureau Chief Jim Travers and City Rep. Virgil de la Cruz tested the city’s fourth rectangular rapid flashing beacon (called an RRFB) last week in Waterside.
