St. Charles Grocer Sued Over $50,000 Cherry Pie Bite

Frances Kitz of Elburn has sued Blue Goose, a St. Charles grocery store, for more than $50,000 damages after she was injured in May by biting into a piece of cherry pie she said contained a pit, according to a recently filed lawsuit. Blue Goose President Paul Lencioni said he could not comment on the lawsuit, but added he runs the business with the utmost integrity.
