SPENCERVILLE — Spencerville running back Zach Goecke doesn’t need a great deal of space to break loose for a long-gainer. In Friday night’s 41-7 shellacking of Bluffton in a Northwest Conference football matchup at Memorial Field, Goecke broke through his offensive line’s holes often, rushing for 296 yards on 24 carries and six touchdowns (2, 7, 81, 3, 4, 60), to help keep Spencerville’s perfect record intact. The Bearcats improve to 7-0 and 4-0 in the NWC.
