Sophie Cookson joins Naomi Watts in Gypsy Fast-rising British actress Sophie Cookson has been cast as Sidney in Netflix series Gypsy. The one-hour psychological thriller will consist of 10 episodes. Cookson, one of Screen International’s 2014 ‘Stars of Tomorrow,’ will star opposite lead Naomi Watts, who plays therapist Jean Holloway, in the psychological thriller from Working Title and Universal Television.
