BLOCK ISLAND — As the East Coast snowstorm stretched into New England from the south, some residents of Block Island are without power Saturday morning.The police report high winds snapped a rotted utility pole on Corn Neck Road leaving a couple dozen residents without power.Snow began falling on the island around 8 a.m.
