Shameful Scare Tactics On Abortion | Letters To The Editor

I opened my sample ballot to find a shameless piece included as part of the description for Amendment 4. They are making up hypotheticals to scare people out of voting for it in the description itself, without separating the argument against the amendment from the summary of the amendment itself. It says there’s a possibility of unlicensed practitioners performing abortions. This process of basically telling people the amendment is bad in the ballot description itself is so cartoonishly undemocratic that it recalls authoritarian countries that hold fake elections. I wanted to bring it to your attention because I believe there’s an important story here.
