A proposed $20 million water park near Grovetown won’t be built, according to a spokesman for the project. Rusty Molton, a spokesman for Scuttles Island, said Monday that the water park will not go forward in Columbia County but will be built somewhere else. He did not say where. “That’s correct. Won’t be in CC but will be built,” Molton said in a text message addressing a question about rumors that the planned park was being cancelled. read more
