The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is warning about a new phone scam in which the caller claims to be from the sheriff’s department and threatens to arrest the person if money isn’t paid. According to a LCSO press release, several dental offices in Lancaster County have received calls from a person claiming to represent the sheriff’s office.
