One dog was killed in a fire that destroyed an RV Tuesday morning. The camper's owner and another dog survived, said Cpt. Steve Oswald, spokesman for the Colorado Springs Fire Department. The owner was evaluated at the scene but was not transported, Oswald said. Flames were reported around 10:15 a.m., and the camper was "fully involved" by the time firefighters arrived, the department said in a tweet.
