ROGERSVILLE - Robert “Bob” McGinnis, age 81, of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday (5/23/18) at Signature Health Care of Rogersville. He was a member of Persia Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Reliance Electric and most recently worked for First Community Bank. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorathy Isenberg McGinnis; maternal grandparents, John and Hattie Cameron Isenberg; and paternal grandparents, Walter and Lennie Wolfe McGinnis. He is survived by his wife, Annette Lawson McGinnis; daughters, Sharon Sartain (Tom) and Shirley Helton (Bill, Jr.); grandchildren, Jess Helton (Heather) and Eric Helton (Brianna); great grandchildren, Isaac, Luke, Abram, Elijah, and Jacob Helton; and special cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday (5/31/18) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.
