Ridley Scott Reveals Regrets Over Not Directing Sequels In His Most Iconic Franchises: 'i Was Never Told Or Asked'

Academy Award nominated filmmaker Ridley Scott wishes he had made the sequels to two of his best-known franchises, Blade Runner and Alien, but says he was never asked. Scott made the revelation while speaking with Vanity Fair, and added that, not only was he not asked to return despite his success, he was never even told that sequels were in development.
