Retired Sullivan Official Pleaded Guilty In Drug Case

BLOUNTVILLE — Sullivan County’s recently retired director of solid waste is seeking expungement of a drug charge to which he pleaded guilty last month, according to court records, with his case tied to a previous bust at a Kingsport transfer station. On. Dec. 8, 43-year employee Lucian Lawson entered a guilty plea to one count of casual exchange, a Class A misdemeanor.
