Redding To Hold Backyard Composting Workshop

REDDING—The Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority will host a composting workshop at Town Hall next Wednesday, Nov. 1. The backyard composting workshop, to begin at 7 p.m., will teach residents which composting bin to use, where to put it and what to put in the bin. It will also explain harvesting compost and management of backyard compost bins. Discounted SoilSaver composters, which usually sell for $100, will be available for $40. Audience space is limited so residents are encouraged to sign up early on the HRRA website or by calling (203) 775-4539.
