HARTtransit is proposing a fare increase and potential changes to bus routes. Proposed Changes include raising the base fare for a fixed route from $1.50 to $1.75 and increasing other fare classes proportionately, increasing the fare for ADA Paratransit from $2.50 to $3 and increasing the fare for same day SweetHART dial-a-ride trips from $3 to $4. Potential changes to the 7Link and 3 Mill Plain routes are also being considered. The changes will be considered by the HARTransit Board of Directors in December and, if approved, enacted in January. Public meetings will be held at 4 p.m.
