Colorado Springs tied the mark for the hottest Sept. 21 on record Monday afternoon.The record of 86 degrees previously was set in 2010 and 2007. The record was matched at 3:49 p.m. Monday, said Mike Nosko, of the National Weather Service in Pueblo.
