Re: The questionnaire we won’t publish, Editorial, Sept. 12 The editorial board’s explanation as to why Jeff Buongiorno’s candidate questionnaire will not be published was chillingly serious reading — and I thank you. Bombarded with “facts” from every direction, verifiable information is more important than ever. The decision to not publish lies, at a time when “let the voter decide” is a common reply to evidence of fact, is sterling. It’s also a bit sad that an added explanation is necessary as to why you will not be complicit in spreading lies. Nancy S.
