The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is requesting public assistance in locating a missing elderly man. Vernon Diggs, 67, was last seen April 4 at 9:25 a.m., on the 3100 Block of Peach Orchard Road. Diggs resides on the 2100 block of Pepperidge Drive. He was wearing a black jacket, black hat and sunglasses, and does not have any known medical conditions, according to a news release.
