Rays Build 7-0 Lead, Settle For 8-4 Win Over K-mets

PRINCETON, W.Va. — Princeton doubled up the Kingsport Mets 8-4 on Sunday night at Hunnicutt Field, giving the Rays the rubber game of the interdivisional Appalachian League series. The Rays rolled out to a 7-0 advantage before the Kingsport bats finally came alive with a pair of two-run homers in the game’s final two innings.
