Rain Washes Out Game 2 Between K-mets, Reds

GREENEVILLE — Tuesday night’s Appalachian League game between the Kingsport Mets and Greeneville Reds at Pioneer Park was postponed because of rain. The matchup, the second of a two-game set between the teams, will be played as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, Aug. 19 at Pioneer Park. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. The K-Mets won Monday’s series opener 9-6, pushing their record to 6-1.
