Proposed Hawkins Ambulance Regulations Exclude Gps Requirement

ROGERSVILLE — A new set of proposed Hawkins County ambulance regulations barely made it past the Public Safety Committee Friday morning and will be presented to the full County Commission for consideration Dec. 15.The main point of dissent among committee members was a stipulation requiring ambulances to be equipped with GPS monitors so that the closest EMS unit can be dispatched to emergencies.
