White Lake Township voters approved a bond proposal to build a new library by just 2 votes in the primary election Tuesday, Aug. 2.The vote was 2,621 in favor and 2,619 opposed.Larry Ostrowski, library director, said the results demonstrate that every vote counts.He said the staff encountered library patrons who said they weren't sure if they would be able to get to the polls on Election Day, and they were encouraged to make use of their right to have their voices heard.
