A McHenry woman faces felony charges after police said she threatened an officer with an 8-inch carving fork. Ashley M. Michaels, of the 900 block of Black Partridge Road, is charged with aggravated assault to a peace officer and resisting a peace officer. According to a criminal complaint, Michaels wielded a two-prong carving fork at a McHenry County Sheriff's deputy Thursday and asked, "Are you ready to lose an eye?" Police used a stun gun to subdue Michaels after she refused several orders to drop the fork, court records show. A warrant for her arrest was issued Thursday with a $10,000 bond.
