Nordstrom will open its first full-price store in New York City Friday, but the company won't make one cent off the venture. The profits of Treasure & Bond, a concept store owned by Seattle-based Nordstrom without bearing its name, will go to non-profit organizations that work with New York children. The shop is located in the city's SoHo neighborhood and looks quite a bit different from the Nordstrom department stores Seattle knows.
