Pd: Danbury Man Flees From Cops, Crashes Stolen Car

A State Police trooper was driving a cruiser with a license plate reader on North Street, by the Exit 6 off-ramp to westbound Interstate 84, when he passed by a car with plates that were canceled on a different vehicle, according to the report. Fernandez was charged with second-degree larceny, first-degree criminal trover, engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, interfering with an officer, driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle and improper use of a license plate.
