The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation's 12th annual Wildlife Expo will be Sept. 23 and 24 at the Lazy E Arena and Ranch in Guthrie. The free event gives adults and kids the opportunity to learn about fishing, hunting, wildlife conservation and the outdoors. More than 100 hands-on activities and seminars are scheduled inside and outside the Lazy E Arena, including fishing, archery, shooting, rock climbing, dog training, Dutch oven cooking, rope making, mountain biking, falconry, bowfishing, farm pond management, reloading, ATV safety, fly fishing, mule packing, bird watching and more. Guests can sample fried catfish, deer jerky and buffalo chili at the "Taste of the Wild" and the "Camp Cookin' in the Heartland" booths. On Friday, the Wildlife Expo will host students from across the state on school field trips.
