From Staff ReportsCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Oklahoma City RedHawks slugger George Springer was called up by the Houston Astros on Wednesday — and now Jon Singleton is making a case for the big league team to give him a chance, too. Singleton collected three extra-base hits, including the game-deciding homer in the seventh inning, and the RedHawks came back to beat Colorado Springs 8-6 in Pacific Coast League baseball before 2,589 fans at Security Service Field. OKC’s high-scoring lineup didn’t miss a step despite the call-up of Springer, who batted .353 with three homers and nine RBIs in 13 games. Singleton led the charge.
