The Broncos activated second-year linebacker Drew Sanders from the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday. Sanders has been on the PUP list since he tore an Achilles tendon during the early part of Denver’s offseason workout program last spring. Sanders returned to practice earlier this month, opening his 21-day window to return to the 53-man roster. Sanders was a full participant at practice leading up to Denver’s divisional win over the Raiders but was not activated for the game. Sanders — a third-round draft pick in 2023 — played inside linebacker after first being drafted and then during the season switched to outside linebacker.
