CEDAR RAPIDS — Officers believe the Monday evening shooting in the southwest neighborhood of Cedar Rapids was the result of a targeted action.Cedar Rapids police officers were dispatched to Mercy Medical Center at 8:27 p.m. Monday for a 20-year-old male who had sustained a non-life-threatening gun shot wound to the arm, said Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow.After speaking with him, officers determined the individual had been shot while he was in a vehicle on the 4100 block of 22nd Ave SW.
