On Friday, the National Weather Service had forecast up to 7 inches of snow for southwest Connecticut, but now says we’ll only get brushed by the storm as it swirls up the East Coast. In its forecast discussion Saturday, the NWS says the low-pressure system will be weaker than earlier forecast models suggested.
